These saddles are hand made in Dubios, Wyoming in the heart of the Wind River Mountain Country. They are built to withstand the riggers of mountain travel and provide the comfort and fit needed for every day use. Saddle features include: Rawhide covered wood tree for strength & durability. High quality Hermann Oak Leather. 100% Sheep skin lining. 7/8" Flat plate rigging to eliminate bulk under the leg. Breast collar Dees are placed high on the tree for proper positioning of breast collar & are fastened to the tree for strength. Hand hole & rigging plate holes are sized for use with gloved hands. 4" cantle provides extra security in steep terrain. Stirrup leathers 3" & doubled. Flank cinch Dee incorporates a double Dee design to allow for use of flank cinch, hobbles, crupper and scabbard (Brass only). Rear billet & cinch, doubled & stitched. Latigos & cinches included. Stirrups are turned & set to prevent sore knees. Approximate weight, 39 lbs. While these saddles were designed for Mountain use, they are equally at home on the ranch or trail.
